Kroons Kollektion – urban visual work
Kroons Kollektion is the bridge between my creative and academic work, the space I call urban visual work, in which I extract and interpret material traces from places, through both images and words.
My visual attention is constantly drawn to the beauty, enigma and humour in the everyday simple and banal, the temporal still life, the old and worn out, and the seemingly ugly and discarded.
I love accidental urban geometry and making images with found objects, interior and exterior ambiance, framing colour and texture abstracts, as well as carving out graphic images from patterns and shadows.

All my images on this site are for sale, as singles or in diptychs and triptychs. Image sizes vary, but typically an image would print in 30×30 cm square and 50×40 cm rectangular. There are different paper options and different mountings – please contact me at ann.kroon@kroonskollektion.se for more information.
The Kroons Kollektion shop also offers fine art cards and serving trays, all of which are designed by me, inspired by urban landscapes, and produced in partnership with small businesses in Colombia and Sweden.
